Earlier this year, Corey LaJoie faced backlash for his comments on the NASCAR Xfinity and Truck Series, preferring Cup races. Despite that, he took part in a part-time Truck Series deal with Spire Motorsports. LaJoie changed his mind after a fast and explained his remarks during a press conference. He stated that he wants to take the opportunity seriously and not be an obstacle to other deserving drivers. LaJoie emphasized his desire to return to the Cup Series and have fun in other racing series.
